As for now, as far as we know, no arrests. Police are still investigating.
Investigating? He's posted & bragged about hitting & causing the death of the young man. What's there to investigate? He should be charged with murder & several other charges for bragging. I hope he gets about 50 yrs in prison.
Why throw in "what the trump supporter said"? We lost a precious life today don't bring politics into this. The man who hit him is honest to God scum and should go to prison for a long long time. What if he had been a Hillary supporter? How do we know he even supports Trump?
Is THAT your take away from this story? To focus on the “Trump supporter” part. He probably IS, but why is that your gripe? How about the casualness of murder of a black man in rural south ala 1960’s pre-Civil Rights Era? How about the rampant visible racism emerging post Trump?
That's not my gripe, if you read what I wrote my gripe is that we lost a life today. Shaun King didn't have to throw in politics, all he had to do was say "racist man killed good samaritan" why he brought up politics in the first place is my gripe because it takes attention 1/2
Human race may never get it all right—we'll do better & worse. But when POTUS is ugly, race-baiting hater, there is scant chance our better angels will emerge. I weep for backward slide in our humanity. I pray we'll snap back soon. November can't come fast enough.

So based on this, who’s to say this wasn’t premeditated- pretty apparent he has no regard for this black life he’s taken... 
He was murdered!
