BREAKING: Several star @NFL players have told me they are considering sitting out the season until the de facto ban of Eric Reid and Colin Kaepernick is removed and both men are given spots back on rosters.
They aim to get 25% of the players to sit out with them.
BREAKING: A group of NFL players tell me they intend to stop paying their NFL Player’s Association (@NFLPA) dues (between $17k-$18k per year) - stating that @DeSmithNFLPA & the @NFLPA have done a horrible job standing up for them, for their concerns, & for Kaepernick & Eric Reid.
Spoke this afternoon to about a dozen NFL veterans. They said at the root of their problem right now is that they don’t actually have a player’s union - and the protections provided by such a thing.
The @NFLPA is not a union. It has little to not power.
NFL players also do not have a central method of communication with one another. No central email list or text message system. They have group chats and email threads with their team or friends, but struggle to communicate one message to all players in the league.
Great, they will soon lose their homes are cars with no income coming in. Their sponsors will drop them as well since they won't be seen on the field playing the game.
I support these players however they choose/not choose to protest police brutality and other systemic racist practices in USA.
The funniest thing about these comments is like no one actually knows why they are protesting and it’s even funnier since it was white veteran that told Capernick to kneel in the first place
Interesting how people are banking on the effects of generational racism and lack of wealth for keeping this from happening.

Its' time we all stand up. Stop buying tickets, stop watching NFL games and stop buying the grear. We have to let these owners know with out us there is no games let's start hitting them in there pockets to where it hurts.
Kaepernick is a bum. He is not even Kordell Stewart good. NFL teams can employ whoever they choose. Also, those stars won’t sit out, cash talks bs walks.
