BREAKING: A group of NFL players tell me they intend to stop paying their NFL Player’s Association (@NFLPA) dues (between $17k-$18k per year) - stating that @DeSmithNFLPA & the @NFLPA have done a horrible job standing up for them, for their concerns, & for Kaepernick & Eric Reid.

Spoke this afternoon to about a dozen NFL veterans. They said at the root of their problem right now is that they don’t actually have a player’s union - and the protections provided by such a thing. The
@NFLPA is not a union. It has little to not power.Show this thread -
NFL players also do not have a central method of communication with one another. No central email list or text message system. They have group chats and email threads with their team or friends, but struggle to communicate one message to all players in the league.

Great, they will soon lose their homes are cars with no income coming in. Their sponsors will drop them as well since they won't be seen on the field playing the game.

I support these players however they choose/not choose to protest police brutality and other systemic racist practices in USA.

The funniest thing about these comments is like no one actually knows why they are protesting and it’s even funnier since it was white veteran that told Capernick to kneel in the first place

Interesting how people are banking on the effects of generational racism and lack of wealth for keeping this from happening. Some things aren't just about money.

Kaepernick is a bum. He is not even Kordell Stewart good. NFL teams can employ whoever they choose. Also, those stars won’t sit out, cash talks bs walks.

Players would save tons of dough if they would stop attending strip clubs.
-
I wouldn’t worry about what others do with their money... wiry about what they do with their character. People focus on others pockets too much like it’s validation for them as a person meanwhile we go millionaire and billionaires pedos running your world
-
Ok, worry is not my issue however after reading UP From Slavery by Booker T Washington 1887 he said " He noticed that people who were getting $100 per month were broke after the month." https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1IhmiE_Hs0I … NFL players would be able to sit out if money was spent wisely.
-
They should sit if the peob is genuine to them... money should not be a factor but I deff overstand what you mean
