The vast majority of Labour don't want Brexit so, on that count, Benn and Skinner do not represent contemporary Labour values. As for Corbyn just being true to the manifesto on Brexit...you credit him with the manifesto in this thread, so a "what can he do?" vibe doesn't work.

No, I credit LABOUR with the manifesto. Which all their MPs were elected on. If you'd like Corbyn to behave like an autocrat, rather than the democrat he is, that's your look-out... but it's an extremely bizarre one.

Point b) of this tweet is where you refer to his "magnificent manifesto", in the context of saying nobody could have done what Corbyn has done. If you don't credit him with the manifesto, it has no place in this context.https://twitter.com/shaunjlawson/status/1080065447523991553?s=19 …

English and Twitter FAIL. 1) My use of 'his' in the first point doesn't necessarily carry over to the second 2) The character limit meant I couldn't put "Labour's" before "magnificent manifesto". No leader anywhere ever writes their own manifesto. That was his brilliant team.
