I mean sure, you could look at this and see someone becoming unhinged from reality. But I see it as proof of what I've always felt about the majority of the far-right, which is that they don't actually believe anything they say and are just cynical snake oil salesmen.

Also not difficult to see his reasoning, he got more likes for the further he went to the right. Pretty much the blueprint for all of these RW “activists”, it’s much easier to get attention and/or $$ by supporting their grift.

It's the same way Tomi Lahren went right from a moderate current events presenter. Or how Candace Owens and Diamond & Silk were center/left up until 2016 when they realized they could get more money and followers playing to conservatives desperate to shield their racism
