Seeing so many saying 9/11.. The ‘93 blizzard was my first major news event but 9/11 is the most major of my childhood and truly my lifetime. Many know this but my father was in the WTC and escaped. I’ll never forget watching news footage while in a middle school classroom.

Baby Jessica trapped in the well. We got to eat dinner on TV trays in the living room for the first time because we couldn’t stop watching to see when she got pulled out by rescuers.

The Cuban Missile Crises, of 1962, when all planetary life was wiped off the planet. The only reason we still exist is we were funneled into an alternate timeline, where Kennedy, and Khrushchev, blinked, and had second thoughts. The world ended many times, since. Final, finally.
