Staged photos but forgot to change the EXIF metadata. I’ve seen this a lot at work with PPTXs, PDFs, etc. Dates and authors names not changed. Word literally has a feature that preps for publish. Gotta set “copyright only” when exporting in Lightroom. 🤦https://twitter.com/jonostrower/status/1312616578773446656 …

The photos released by the WH tonight of the president working at Walter Reed were taken 10 minutes apart at 5:25:59 pm and 5:35:40 pm ET Saturday, according to the EXIF data embedded in both @AP wire postings that were shared by the White House this evening. pic.twitter.com/EzeqIkGdf7

Sorry if I am a little slow on the uptake here, but what does having this metadata and both photos being 10 minutes apart imply?

Could imply that it's a staged set of photos, wait until #infosec has dissected fully

Also, am I the only one who finds weird those pics of presidents or businessmen without a single computer on the table? Like are those prople from the past? What are they trying to tell us by avoiding to show computers?

I feel like the reflection of his hand in the second photo makes absolute zero sense. There would be no reflection because his hand is sitting on the paper. Hell, his pinky in the reflection is coming over the piece of paper!

I think the news wire requires EXIF data in the images. Though exif tool exists and could easily have updated that data and no one would be able to tell.
