A customer said, “I saw an AR-15 and it startled me with the events recently in Colorado. I went to the customer service desk and let them know. It wasn't acted on right away. It was actually taken more lightly than I thought it would be, especially with the recent events."

Hopefully he won’t win “Associate of the Week”.

-
I honestly thought it said “ass” of the week. But that would make sense.

“I went to the clerk at the customer service desk working at the time and let them know. It wasn't acted upon right away. It was actually taken a little more lightly than I thought it would be, especially with the recent events."

I don’t understand this part... what did the clerk do? Did he/she NOT immediately call 911? Did he/she shrug? What was the response? How do you not immediately and frantically not address THIS?!

Isn’t there something on the books like attempt to mass kill?
-
Luckily/Unluckily, the police got him before he got to begin - so he was stopped from getting to "attempt" mass murder. I do hope the charge gets upgraded to "intent", but that is likely hard to prove to the level needed for conviction.
