Actually, it was the Sundar CEO change - Google had previously told the SEC it did not have to disclose because the chief decision maker at the company, Larry, did not see them. Now that Sundar has that role, they can no longer make that argument.

between FB's 2.89B user number and Microsoft's 68% Azure growth YoY, it's absolutely wild to me that the ability to scale is starting to become limited by the amount of people on the planet with cell phones rather than competition or market segmentation

the reason the shares are sinking is b/c expenses surged to 12 billion bucks — part of FB's plan to continue spending huge on "securing the platform", per Zuckerberg margins are going to shrink b/c of that for the foreseeable future

For Wall St it's always concerns about future growth. FB has already expanded to most of the world's internet-connected population. Now, it needs to spend more to find its next big biz model, after news feed ads. (this isn't because of spending on content moderation etc.)

I got a weird SMS. I didn't click. Researchers concluded it was a hacking attempt with Israeli software by hackers linked to Saudi Arabia. Saudi officials: no comment. The Israeli company: not all hack attempts use our products. Be careful out there, kids.
