I'm responding to this from my perspective. As someone w/disabilities having the option of virtual fests has been a life-saver. As someone who doesn't make a lot of money, being able to cover films remotely has been a life-saver. I've always wondered what it must be like to be a white man on the internet spouting nonsense w/ zero consequences. I'm astounded by the bravado of announcing that you don't think a group of ppl are real film lovers b/c they can't go to in-person festivals.
