    Consider: millions of years ago our antecedents gave a massive sacrifice of their left hemisphere. We lost a tremendous amount of short term memory and replaced it with Broca’s, Wernicke & the phonological loop. But why? So we can—talk. Thus chimpanzees can do this—we can’t:

    TIL about git-bisect: If you've introduced a bug and you want to find the exact commit that caused it, start using the bisect command to find it 🐛🕵🏽‍♀️

    $ git bisect start
$ git bisect bad # Current version is bad
$ git bisect good v3.12.1 # v3.12.1 is known to be good

$ git bisect bad # continue marking as bad or good as it checks out a commit

# It'll check out a version in between the good and bad, and repeats
# until it singles out one commit that caused the bug.
# The reference refs/bisect/bad will be left pointing at that commit.
