    “Papa Can I Be” is my debut illustrated children’s book with . The Times Educational Supplement said about it, well, nothing, because why would they unless I told them about it? They will. It’s innocent, charming and available on Kindle now.

    My message was not in any way meant to be a petulant dig at my friends on this platform, God forbid, I’m not a baby, but the platform itself, which I’m convinced is manipulative with visibility to an unhealthy degree.

    To the two people who returned my Eid Mubarak greeting today, bless you. I think that tells you why I’ve lost faith in this platform and am looking elsewhere for engagement, because I don’t believe for a second that more people wouldn’t have wanted to return my greeting here.

    My latest newsletter on seems to have been read quite widely, and also seems to be functioning as a Rorschach Test. Sadly, much of the discussion around it is happening on Facebook and Twitter, the very platforms I’m trying to drag the conversation away from.

    The commentator has not only misprounced Minamino’s name throughout, but the absolute moron has also just mspronounces Firmino, twice as “Firmina”. He’s a bit like a supply teacher who is brought in at end of term and knows nothing of the subject.

    The BT Sport commentator is a little too breathy for my liking, but worse, he is consistently mispronouncing Minamino’s name as “Minamina”.
