The process I go through when implementing a new adapter is basically this: ``` pub struct MyConnection; impl Connection for MyConnection { } ``` and then follow the compiler errors from there. Once you have successfully implemented `Connection`, you're done.
Beyond that, basically the answer is come ask me or the rest of the team for help. AFAIK there's only one 3rd party adapter being developed. We have some (https://github.com/diesel-rs/diesel/blob/b91db481cf04331a7101379afcf8bc569169c6a6/diesel/src/connection/statement_cache.rs#L2-L92 …) internal docs, but they're sparser than I'd like.
