I agree with you 100%, one note: the interim board is being lumped into something they didn't create or have control over, and they still don't have a good handle on the situation. so being understanding of that and helping them is going to be crucial here
I agree. However, I think a much more helpful response would have been "we are setting up an emergency meeting of the board to try and directly address some of these concerns. We will have an official statement after that is done. The minutes will be made public as well"

totally agree. and I believe they see that as well now after pointing it out to them. i just hope that we are keeping in mind that it's people we're dealing with who will not get this right, it's not a PR firm with expertise in these kinds of situations :)

Absolutely. I count most of the interim board among my friends, and don't want to put them in a bad light.
