Are any other @rustlang folks bothered by `Vec` over `Vector` but `Option` over `Opt`? (And a billion other things that are abbreviated that don't need to be)

Man there’s one that always annoyed me that I can’t remember. Googling “Ruby abbreviated method names” isn’t fruitful

especially because everyone always says it out loud as a word - "puts" rather than "put ess" (which would be insane)
