Are any other @rustlang folks bothered by `Vec` over `Vector` but `Option` over `Opt`? (And a billion other things that are abbreviated that don't need to be)

i disagree that Vec doesn't need to be abbreviated - the more often a name is used, the more pleasant it is to shorten it. i might prefer Opt over Option once i got used to it, although you could also make the argument that there's greater precedent for shortening Vec
I disagree that 3 characters is ever that significant of a difference. This isn't Cocoa. We aren't talking `[OrderedIndexableArray createWithType: andCapacity: andAllocator:]

i don't buy arguments over specific numbers of characters because i don't think you can really judge it so quantitatively. plus, it ignores how commonly the name appears
