Maybe this is an unpopular opinion, but not having mkdirp, rimraf, chownr etc in Node core seems fine to me? If it's about being welcoming to newbies, discoverability of the userland modules is the issue, not what is or is not in core...?

As someone who falls heavily under the "UNIX folks" bucket, I have no clue what any of the names in the original tweet mean (except `mkdirp` and even then I don't expect method names to include flags for a unix command)
