Also me in Rust: To ever abstract over Diesel queries you will have to at absolute minimum write: The SQL type of the select clause, the entire from clause, and the entire group by clause -- Always in cases where you don't care about coupling. Will never be concise w/o -> _

Type inference for private and/or function-local functions has been proposed a few times before, and seems like what these use cases really want, can't remember what the reaction was.
