there's prior art in lua and i think coffeescript, so it's not /too/ weird to me, but i've seen it used rarely enough that it's still pretty heckin weird
I literally never would have guessed what that meant. Problem with symbols for syntax there is it's impossible to google.
this was my #1 issue with nim when i first looked at it — it has example code with json parsing, but the json library defines a bunch of custom operators and there's no clear indication of where they came from
