Thanksgiving is problematic in lots of ways. But I’ve got a lot of gratitude within my professional life, so here goes. 1/

I’m grateful for my job. Rust feels like history in the making, and I’m so lucky to be *paid* to be a part of that. 2/

I’m grateful for @mozilla. I love working for a non-profit, mission-focused organization. I’m supported, trusted, well paid, and have all the flexibility I need. 3/

I’m grateful for the @rustlang community. My world has expanded a hundred-fold working on Rust. The diversity of talents constantly amazes and humbles me. There are so many ways to be brilliant! 4/

I’m grateful for my close collaborators, @nikomatsakis @wycats @withoutboats @alex_crichton. You challenge and inspire me daily to make something Great -- and you show me how it’s done. 5/
