I just realized that twitter is trying to turn itself into a broadcast platform. It's the new TV.

It used to be about actually connecting with other people. Now all that is pushed aside in favor of celebrities, groups, spammers.

Increasingly I'm forced into a mode of interaction uncomfortably like broadcast - because I literally can't parse the volume of replies.

I don't want to broadcast into the void, with no knowledge of impact or ensuing discussion.

But they offer no tools to manage conversation at scale. I can't even _understand_ it, much less engage with participants.
