I'm writing migrations/0001-initial-schema.sql, etc., and I don't know whether I'll last with it but holy crap is it a breath of fresh air.

Ten years of Rails and I still fear what my migrations will create, but I have no fear at all about what Postgres will do with my DDL.
Interestingly, people found Diesel's choice to only support SQL for migrations to be incredibly controversial.

Really? Isn't it for SQL DBs? Why would you not write the migration in SQL?
