Yeah installing ssl certs on heroku used to be a pain. LetsEncrypt did a great job! 
Just setup LetsEncrypt on @heroku for the first time. 10/10 would "certs:auto:enable" again. Easiest SSL cert of my life.

As much credit goes to Heroku as well. Setting up LetsEncrypt was not trivial before.
