It's been legitimately helping. I'm walking more than I would otherwise. My pain level is a bit lower. But I shouldn't need to do it

The fact that my building can have any say in my choice of mobility device should be illegal, and Canada should be ashamed for the situation

That said, I'm debating if I want to keep using a cane in situations where my scooter. I feel geriatric as all hell using it.

I've never been fond of the "handicapped" label (hence why I use a scooter and not a wheelchair). A cane makes me feel handicapped.

That said, even in America where the law is on my side, people see me on the scooter and assume I'm some asshole who hates walking.

"Looking handicapped" is helpful as a solution to that, as much as I hate the label.

I don't really have a conclusion here. I mostly just wanted to vent. Hopefully y'all like my new geriatric look.

Sure they can legally stop you? Regardless that sucks man, I know the pain, hope you get better!
