So I've been trying out using a cane lately (building I work in will not let me use my scooter). I've got some complex feelings about it

"Looking handicapped" is helpful as a solution to that, as much as I hate the label.

Yes, they can. The laws here are incredibly lax for non-government agencies (at least compared to America which is my baseline comparison)
