Do I have to use the controller cache store now, not Rails.configuration?

Is it no longer okay to do it in an initializer? Reading in places (old) that those run after cache initialization.

Which repo? It turns out that I can't set Rails.configuration.cache_store in an initializer.

I could just be wrong and it's intentional, but I think that something working in config but not in an initializer breaks user expectations

Totally broke mine. :) And it was working in 4 (not sure about 5), definitely not in 5.1

If it wasn't in the upgrade guide (or at least the CHANGELOG) that's still a bug.
