@sgrif thanks for diesel. Its generation/migrations made MySQL not awful from rust.Wish we didn’t have some tables w/ a type column now :)

Probably not, on the other hand are they more annoying to work with than C macros (I say without researching them in rust at all yet...)
It's apples and oranges. `table!` would not be possible with C preprocessor macros. They're closer to C++ templates (but not as awful)
