I’ve never been anywhere near as comfortable in a systems language (I’ve used C, C++, D, maybe others?) as I am in Rust only a few days in.

I actually switched away to rust-postgres though because I needed to write complex SQL that the query builder didn’t support, but …

Oh, one more thing: the reason I needed raw SQL was as far as I can tell Diesel doesn't support Postgres CTEs. Is that on the radar at all?

Cross joins to arbitrary expressions definitely is, which covers 95% of the same use cases
