Day 3 of Rust. I'm still fighting with the borrow checker a bit, but the learning curve has been way less steep than I'd expected.

The tools and libraries for Rust are amazing.

I’ve never been anywhere near as comfortable in a systems language (I’ve used C, C++, D, maybe others?) as I am in Rust only a few days in.

I actually switched away to rust-postgres though because I needed to write complex SQL that the query builder didn’t support, but …

… also needed to escape values, and Diesel’s raw query method didn’t seem to support that.

Yeah, https://github.com/diesel-rs/diesel/issues/650 … is high up on my list of features to add sooner rather than later
