I need advice. I view "small methods/functions/units are better" as an axiom. How do you convince someone that 300 line methods are bad?

The answer is to break it into 30 modules which all override a 10 line function and call super. It's the rails way.

Bonus points if order of module inclusion matters and is easy to get wrong. Getting it wrong should mean subtle bugs not errors.
