no. The right way to handle this should be 'WHERE id IN :arrayParam' Reuse one prepared statement for all id set sizes.

The only backend for which that is an option is PG, which has special operators for it.

and Oracle. We have so many issues with slow IN queries with 100s if elems. Hibernate sadly doesn't know about arrays :(

Which is why Diesel prefers arrays when possible. I still have to handle backends which don't support it.

I know this is not what you are looking for, `WHERE id IN (select 0 limit 0)` will query for an empty set.

Doesn't work as a generic solution, invalid when used with a string column for example
