Heard about Oklahoma voting down more money for education. How? Why? Who wakes up and says "let's make our nation safer, yet dumber"?
Or: Concerns with how the money is being spent. E.g. massive waste, increased budget goes to admin not the schools

i get it, but we can't keep taking money out of schools for decades and expect things to be okay.

Agreed. It would be great if many of the riders that get proposed were additional choices in ballot items.
