For some perspective: @spacex's proposed Mars rocket can launch up to 550 tons. The ISS weighs 500 tons.

space shuttle payload cap was only 50k lb. and don't think aero would limit the ITS either, being 2.5x wider than SS cargo bay

I don't think so. The modules aren't exactly volume efficient. And I don't think you can flat pack a space station. ;)

Definitely fewer launches than the shuttle took. Unlikely it'd be as low as 2.
