FWIW aerodynamics are the biggest constraint there, not payload capacity.

space shuttle payload cap was only 50k lb. and don't think aero would limit the ITS either, being 2.5x wider than SS cargo bay

Saturn V had significantly larger payload capacity than the shuttle. Tech was there.
