I'm using a parallelization lib to manage spawning processes for ag, wonder if it's doing too many and killing perf?
CPU usage of the main process starts going up towards the end. Hanging around 300% a lot. I'm guessing GC time?

hmm, might be. I might profile on that big project to get a sense of it

if you def notice slowdown at the end, I bet it's things with lists that I'm doing that's not smart, since most ops are O(n)
