Every time a website redirects me to .ca or /en_ca I die a little bit inside.

how come? Because the site is geolocating? Or do you think domains/paths are the wrong way to handle l10n?
Also if you're legitimately internationalizing lang for Canada don't bother. Nobody cares if you're spelling it colour
