I always read about Rails having "too much magic" but people don't give specific examples. Are there any blog posts I can read?

@tenderlove Ex. The question from my Railsconf talk last year about autosave, where nobody in the audience could answer if assoc was saved

@sgrif DARN, I thought the right answer was something like don't use `accepts_nested_attributes_for`

@metaskills No, the answer was dependent on whether either record involved is a new record

@metaskills And at least 2 of them are in places you wouldn't think to grep. That's where it gets to be *too* magic. 4/4

@sgrif Good example. Autosave would have to be on for the user association I "think". Or... you had to use ANAF :)
