Is "4k" just a marketing term? I'm not sure what it actually means.
@headius @tenderlove It's because it's 3840 px, and 4k is a reasonable way to say that number.

@headius@tenderlove Yeah, the `k` can't last more than one more bump. 8k is 7680, which barely counts. After that I guess it's 15k?

@fryguy9@sgrif@tenderlove Perhaps we should start saying pibixels to indicate non-powers of two resolution, like mebibytes and gibibytes.
