@sgrif I know what you mean, bro. However, Erbse will be Cells 4 standard ERB, so it has to be fast. BTW I simply copied most of the code!
@apotonick I believe you, you just said in the README that you're looking to have this be part of Rails 5, so we'd need a benchmark.

@sgrif I might remove this comment, then, as I do not really care whether Rails uses Erbse or wants to stick w/ dinosaur Erubis+ugly hacks. -
@sgrif Pretty sure we can make Erbse even faster, now that it's cleaned up. Will provide benchmarks for rendering cells with Erubis & Erbse. - 1 more reply
