Why is everyone using angularjs these days?

@sgrif Right. Most of the apps I've seen using angular seemed overkill, extra complexity added for not much value.
@cantoniodasilva But that was the thing with Angular. Outside of the directives API, it's just JavaScript. And some helpers for testing.

@sgrif yeah, I'm currently working on an app that's migrating away from angularjs, it's indeed a hard transition. -
@cantoniodasilva Equally hard from plain JS to Angular after the fact when you know you need a framework. And we always guess wrong. :( - 3 more replies
