Why is everyone using angularjs these days?

@sgrif@yves_senn I feel like it just gets into my way, of course it's a contextual opinion, I'm sure it serves well for some cases.
@cantoniodasilva I felt much better about it once the code base got to a certain size. Felt like overkill until ~5KLOC

@sgrif Right. Most of the apps I've seen using angular seemed overkill, extra complexity added for not much value. -
