@brixen @dhh @garybernhardt @cdlm Symbol GC changes things but in 4.2 we convert potential symbols to strings not the other way around.

@brixen No I really didn't. In 5.0 we can do things differently because of symbol GC. I'm stating how things are implemented in 4.2 - 1 more reply
