@dhh If the point of some code is to interact with the database, using a stub instead of a real relation is absurd.

@sgrif I contend that point of an Active Record is to be backed by a DB. If you're stubbing ARs or making repos, you're imo harming design.

@dhh Same goes for controllers in my opinion. Outermost level of the application is not meant to be tested in isolation.

@sgrif Most certainly, which is where the command pattern and the hexagon approach both go astray in my book.
