when did rails stop auto-loading classes from the `lib` directory, or even putting it on $LOAD_PATH

I swear it was but I just found the docs that said this changed "years ago"

as in, https://guides.rubyonrails.org/v5.2/autoloading_and_reloading_constants.html#autoload-paths-and-eager-load-paths … says you can use `config.autoload_paths` but you really really shouldn't, whereas it used to be common practice ime
