Tech friends, does your service which requires an email address to sign up allow entering a non-ascii address?

Pretty sure we easily could, except for the fact that the services we integrate with can't handle it. So we're kinda bound by them.
Yeah, can you actually send an email to that address is of course a completely separate question (and unfortunately the answer may even be non-deterministic) that I intentionally omitted.

Given the state of things right now, I suspect anyone intentionally giving out a non-ascii email address is fully aware of the shit storm they're opting into
