I assume the answer is ld50 of caffeine / percentage of caffeine per gram of tea right?

it's actually the water! there are three things in the tea that can kill you: caffeine, theobromine, and water

i'm getting 300 cups/kg for the theobromine content whereas it's 8 cups/kg for the caffeine content it's 0.3 cup/kg for water!

the ld50 of water is surprisingly low, it's like ... 7 liters or so. Of course you have to drink it all at once, but ... i've gone on hikes with that amount of water in my backpack

Does the caffeine stick in your system for longer though? (e.g. over the rate you can actually consume it the caffeine will build up to lethal levels first)
