IIRC "RST 0" is the actual "reset vector" so that'd be like a soft reset but I think that still leaves you with 7 one-byte call instructions you can use for various shenanigans can effectively turn them into a custom instructions :P

not the best example, but I believe this is the jump table one: https://gist.github.com/eddyb/950fcc5eb41689023baafb17fc55cb28#file-tetris-log-rs-L16-L23 … so RST 28h, a 1-byte instruction, would call into that which would treat *the bytes after the instruction* as an array of 16-bit addresses, and jump to the address found at index A

not sure why I don't have other entry-points in there.... oh I'm dumb, RST 0 isn't a soft reset, the entry-point is at 0x100, due to the weird bootloader ROM thing so I guess I just didn't have anything with other RST instructions analyzed
