pepsi also once had like... the 7th largest navy on the planet during Glasnost, Gorbachev started allowing global trade into the USSR. however their currency was too inflated to actually pay for it, so the USSR paid PepsiCo in WW2 Naval Ships and Vodka. No, that's not a joke.
