The ending for #TheLastofUsPart2 brought up a lot of old feelings about my dad. He died 14 years ago. I really liked the story. You have to work to empathize with characters making decisions you disagree with, but it worked really well. But boy that ending was bleak

I couldn’t get an hour into the first one without getting too sad. I’ll probably never play this one at all. I’ve heard it’s so much more emotionally challenging.

They're definitely not games to play if you want to feel good and happy about its world or its characters. You should give the first one a shot though, it has a bit more optimism and hope in its story
