How often do you find yourself needing to handle an error after its been converted to a dyn Error or generally had its type information erased?

The only place I've ever needed to do this is in a middleware to handle specific errors for a web app. Generally I don't type erase errors unless I'm at an application boundary or I know for sure I want this error to bubble up to the user
