I really miss Rick Berman era Star Trek. Nothing new coming out has scratched that itch for me. Picard felt closer to Firefly than 80s/90s Star trek (which isn't a bad thing, just different)

I really hate that society appears to have collectively decides that TV shows should be 15 hour movies.

I agree, they should start making 20 to 25h movies! Like 23 episodes of 1 hour then a dual episode finale of 90mn!!!

I couldn't agree more with this. I really liked how each episode was a different play on some philosophical topic for the most part. That was way more interesting than just the raw drama you get between the long play of relationship building.

I wouldn’t hate an episodic option. I do like that the new series are stories though-I prefer that medium for telling cool stories (GoT, WW, etc.)
